Robert C. Bordone
is the Thaddeus R. Beal Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law
School and the deputy director of the Harvard Negotiation Research Project,
where he teaches several courses on negotiation and dispute resolution. Bordone
is also an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center. He has
written numerous articles and role simulations on negotiation and dispute resolution
in journals such as the Harvard Negotiation Law Review and Negotiation
Journal. His research interests include negotiation ethics, the role of leadership
in negotiation, and the design and implementation of organizational dispute
systems. In addition to his academic work, Bordone consults and teaches for a
wide range of corporate, government, and nonprofit clients. Before coming to
Harvard, he clerked for United States District Judge George A. O’Toole Jr. and
worked for law firms in New York City and Washington, D.C., as well as for CBS
News and the Boston Consulting Group. Bordone is a graduate of Dartmouth
College and Harvard Law School.
