Kimberlee K. Kovach has more than twenty-five years’ experience in mediation and has spent the past fifteen years teaching in the field of alternative dispute resolution. She is a past chair of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution as well as the State Bar of Texas ADR Section. Kovach is the author of a textbook for law school use, Mediation: Principles and Practice (3rd ed., 2004), as well as of Mediation in a Nutshell (2003). She has also writ­ten several law review articles along with shorter commentaries on topics surrounding mediation use. Kovach has lectured throughout the United States and abroad and serves as a mediator, arbitrator, and ADR trainer. She is currently the distinguished lecturer in dispute resolution at South Texas College of Law.
