Kimberlee K. Kovach
has more than twenty-five years’ experience in mediation and has spent the
past fifteen years teaching in the field of alternative dispute resolution.
She is a past chair of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute
Resolution as well as the State Bar of Texas ADR Section. Kovach is the
author of a textbook for law school use, Mediation: Principles and
Practice (3rd ed., 2004), as well as of Mediation in a Nutshell (2003).
She has also written several law review articles along with shorter
commentaries on topics surrounding mediation use. Kovach has lectured
throughout the United States and abroad and serves as a mediator,
arbitrator, and ADR trainer. She is currently the distinguished lecturer
in dispute resolution at South Texas College of Law.
