Lukasz Rozdeiczer
holds a law degree from the Warsaw University, a
diploma in British and European legal studies from Cambridge and Warsaw
Universities, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. He is currently a
visiting scholar at Georgetown University Law Center and an associate of
the Dispute Resolution Program at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard
Law School. Lukasz’s current research focuses on mediation in commercial
disputes and transactions, including corporate reorganization and
international transactions. He is writing his Ph.D. thesis at Warsaw
University on introducing commercial mediation to the Polish Legal System
(Code of Civil Procedure). Before coming to the United States, Lukasz
practiced law in international law firms in Warsaw, and was adviser to the
secretary of state of the Republic of Poland. He currently lives in
Washington, D.C., where he continues his research at Georgetown Law Center
and works as a consultant for the World Bank. While writing his chapter in
this volume he was a Senior Hewlett Fellow on Law and Negotiation at the
Program on Negotiation, Harvard Law School.
