Douglas Stone
is a partner at Triad Consulting Group
and a lecturer on law at Harvard Law School, where he teaches negotiation.
Through Triad, he consults to a wide range of organizations, including
Fidelity, Shell, Honda, the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, and the World
Health Organization. He has worked with mediators and journalists in South
Africa, Greek and Turkish community leaders in Cyprus, and diplomats at
the Organization of African Unity in Ethiopia. Doug is a coauthor of
Difficult Conversations (1999) and Real College (2004), and was for many
years associate director of the Harvard Negotiation Project.
