Nancy A. Welsh is professor of law and associate director of the Center for Dispute Resolution at the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. Her scholarship, which has appeared in journals including the Washington University Law Quarterly, the Harvard Negotiation Law Review, and the Ohio State Journal of Dispute Resolution, focuses on the institutionalization of court-connected and agency-sponsored mediation and the procedural justice offered by the mediation process. Before joining Penn State, Welsh was executive director of the nonprofit Mediation Center and served on the Minnesota ADR Review Board, which developed and implemented rules governing ADR in the state’s courts.
